The Terraces

STRUCTURES
These designs represent unbuilt works, primarily of the architecture firm Morris Architects.

Morris Architects is noted for its commercial buildings and interiors. The firm generally does not design single-family residences. The designs represented here are exceptional in both their design and in the fact of their uniqueness. The first two homes were designed for a development project (Pondhurst Trust) in which Mr. Morris was a partner. After the stock market crash in October 1987, Mr. Morris and his partners concluded that the timing was not right for the development of homes selling for $2 million and above.

The bridge design was for a stream crossing at a residential subdivision in Newton MA. It was never built.

The multi-family/retail mixed-use project was once described as "the best building design ever proposed for our town" by a town planner in suburban Boston.

These offerings represent an unusual opportunity as they are available as framed drawings (elevation or rendering as may be available) and as building plans.
